Hi, I’m Racheal

I am so excited you have chosen to visit my page.

Just a little bit about me:

I am a mum of 5 beautiful children and 4 grandchildren. My husband and I have been dairy farmers for many years. I love farming life, but most of all I love when the cows calve as it means I get to look after all their babies. Between the children and farm over the years has taught me to have lots of patience and to have a calm environment when working.

I first started my photography life as a landscape photographer, going around New Zealand and seeing all the amazing sights is just breathtaking. But with the ties of dairy farming there were long periods of time I could not get away. So to keep from getting bored I tried children’s portraits. I loved the fun and excitement they brought to the session and found I really did love it. From there I went on the learn newborn photography, that is what really made me feel like I had found my calling in my photography life.

I have spent time and money learning from some of the best newborn photographers around the world and New Zealand, whether it is in person workshops or online workshops. I continue to learn everyday.

I understand life is made up of precious yet evanescent moments and I would love to capture your magical moments before they become a faded memory.
